August 18, 2020 – Remind students to use the Vocabulary Handout as reference materials. Show The Accounting Industry – Careers segment. Students should complete the corresponding Assessment III on iCEV. Review vocabulary. Have students begin the Job Description Activity.

August 19, 2020 – Vocabulary Quiz on iCEV. Complete the Jobs Descriptions Activity and submit through teams. Go over Student Notes for test on Thursday.

August 20, 2020 – TEST Accounting Industry Final Assessment IV in iCEV. Distribute the Accounting Cycle: Service Business Chart of Accounts Student Handout and the Vocabulary Handout for students to reference during the presentation. Show the Basic Accounting segment. Have students complete the At Your Service Activity on iCEV.

August 21, 2020 – Complete any assignments remaining from the previous days. Complete the Left or Right Activity on iCEV. Students should also complete the To Own or To Owe Activity on iCEV.

August 17, 2020 – Finish Apprenticeship Activity. Show Formulas for Career Success: Career Testing & Investigation – Career Investigation (slides 40-64). Review Vocabulary for quiz on Tuesday. Read 8 Careers for Video Game Enthusiasts. Complete Apprenticeship Word Search and Describing Your Strengths Worksheets.

August 18, 2020 – Vocabulary Quiz (located in TEAMS) on Career Success. Distributing the Introduction to Professional Communication Vocabulary Handout for students to use for reference during the presentation. Show the Defining Professional Communication segment of the presentation followed by Assessment I (five questions) on iCEV. Afterward, provide instructions for the Memo! Project.

August 19, 2020 – Begin the class by asking students to name their favorite food, athlete or hobby. Review the previous day’s slides. Show the Listening Process segment. After discussing the listening process, remind the students of the opening activity. Ask them to write down each student’s name and what each student said was his/her favorite. How well were they listening? Discuss the importance of listening in a professional setting. Later, allow students to complete the corresponding Assessment II on iCEV for this segment. Answer Listening Skills Questionnaire.

August 20, 2020 – Show the Components of Professional Communication segment followed by the corresponding Assessment III on iCEV. Read 12 Tough Interview Questions and Answers. Watch Dissecting an Interview. Provide instructions to complete the Interview Question Activity.

August 21, 2020 – Instruct students to complete the Best in Class Project. Best in Class presentations. Complete the Professional Communication Crossword Puzzle.
