August 21, 2023 – Watch When the functions of money break down: Hyperinflation. Begin by briefly reviewing the previous segment. Show the Concepts Related to Inflation segment (slides 23-42). Complete Inflation – Concepts Related to Inflation – Student Notes in iCEV. Follow with Assessment II. Introduce the Inflation: Then & Now Project to the class, and allow students to work on it for the remainder of the class. Use the US Inflation Calculator to answer your project. Read America’s Huge Pile of National Debt Makes Combating Inflation More Difficult.
August 22, 2023 – Substitute. Have the students complete the Inflation Crossword. Complete the Inflation Vocabulary Activty and the Inflation Final Assessment in iCEV.
