March 11, 2025 – Begin Leadership Styles Topic. Begin the class by distributing the Leadership Styles Vocabulary Handout for students to use as reference material during the entire presentation. Show the Introduction to Leadership Styles segment of Leadership Styles. Follow the segment with Student Notes – Leadership Styles – Introduction to Leaderships Styles, Assessment I and Hot Air Balloon Coat of Arms Activity.
March 12, 2025 – Remind students to continue using the Vocabulary Handout. Show the Traits of a Leader segment of Leadership Styles. Review How to Motivate Your Employees. Follow the segment with Student Notes – Leadership Styles – Traits of a Leader and Assessment II. Complete All Anyone Really Wants at Work Is Autonomy.
March 13, 2025– Watch Everyday Leadership (6:14). Begin the class by asking students if they believe communication is important in their lives. Show the Communication in Leadership segment of Leadership Styles (slides 39 -46). Follow the segment with Student Notes – Leadership Styles – Communication in Leadership and Assessment III. Complete What Gets You Up in the Morning? as compared to what keeps you up at night worrying as a leader.
March 14, 2025 – Show the Leadership in Groups segment of Leadership Styles (slides 47 – 65), followed by Student Notes – Leadership Styles – Leadership in Groups and Assessment IV. Assign the Leadership & CTSOs Activity. CTSO is Career and Technical Student Organizations like FBLA.
March 17, 2025– Watch The Surprising Truth in How to be a Great Leader (12:51), a presentation about not needing to be an expert to be a great leader. Complete Leadership vs. Management Activity and Vocabulary – Leadership Styles. Administer the Leadership Styles Final Assessment. [REF02222024]
